Georgian Folk Dancing and choreography art project
Based in New York, USA, Get Dance Ge offers Georgian dance classes, master classes, dance and musical performances, Georgian fitness, yoga, and stretching lessons. We provide in-person and online lessons for all interested individuals, including children and teenagers, adults, as well as professional dancers and teachers looking to improve their dancing and performing skills.

Our mission is to provide professional dance classes and performances to exchange cultural diversity and collaboration and create content for a healthy lifestyle through Georgian choreography and culture.
Our vision is to expand Georgian choreography and culture and connect with art, music, dance, and a healthy lifestyle while celebrating creativity and diversity in the community.
Accreditation
Georgian dance is characterized by its energetic movements, intricate footwork, and colorful costumes. It is an important part of Georgian culture, and is often performed at social events, festivals, and weddings. It has a rich history and cultural roots dating back thousands of years.
At our school, we are passionate about teaching Georgian dance to people of all ages and backgrounds. We believe that it is important to preserve this cultural heritage for future generations, and to share it with people around the world.
That is why our school is certified by the International Dance Council CID, which is an official partner of UNESCO. This certification recognizes our commitment to promoting and preserving the art of Georgian dance, and we are proud to be a part of this global network of dance schools and organizations.

Classes​
Our classes are traditional Georgian dance, Georgian Fitness, Yoga, and Stretching to improve individuals' physical and mental health and flexibility, reduce weight, increase energy and performance, and improve coordination and balance.
Performances​
Our musical and dance performances will create a memorable evening for your special event. The musical show includes Georgian musical instruments doli, phanduri, garmoni, and other instruments—the dance performance of traditional Georgian dances, kartuli, acharuli, mtiuluri, and many others.

Hi!
My name is Giorgi, and I have danced all my life. From a young age, I was lucky to perform in several ensembles in Georgia, ensemble Iverieli and Georgian State National Singing and Dancing Academic Ensemble Erisioni, Turkey’s Fire of Anatolia and Troy show, and the USA Dancing Crane Georgian Cultural Center. I traveled to many counties worldwide and promoted Georgian culture and traditions through Georgian dance.
Get Dance Ge- is my passion for Georgian choreography and embodiment to popularize Georgian culture and dance in the USA and worldwide.Â

My name is Vaso. I am an active dancer of the State Academic Ensemble “Aphkhazeti”. I have danced in the Georgian State National Singing and Dancing Academic Ensemble Erisioni. I participated in the French project “La Horde” and “Ballet National De Marseille” in the “Marry Me in Bassiani” project, in the Chinese show “Window of the World”, the Ukrainian show “Fairy tale”, and the Turkish show “Hurem Sultan”.

My name is Tinatin. I am an actor-dancer of the State Academic Ensemble “Aphkhazeti”. I am a former dancer of the Georgian National Ballet “Sukhishvili” and a Dance Academy “Sukhishvili” teacher. Dancer of the French project “La Horde” and “Ballet National De Marseille” in the “Marry Me in Bassiani” project.

My name is Ilia. I am an active teacher at Dancing Crane Georgian Cultural Center in the USA, participating in many musicals and dance performances. My dance career began at the kid’s ensemble Little Virtuouses from Georgia. Later, I danced at the Georgian State National Singing and Dancing Academic Ensemble Erisioni, Turkey’s Fire of Anatolia and Troy show.

our Performance
Performing arts include dance and a musical ensemble that presents traditional Georgian dance and music from different parts of Georgia regions. Each dance has its history, part of its origin, and manner of performance. The costumes also symbolize the various regions where the dance began.
dance repertoire includes the following:
Kartuli
Kartuli, also known as a Georgian dance, is a wedding dance performed between the couple, and it is a nationwide dance.
Khorumi
Khorumi is a warrior dance performed by men, and it originally comes from Guria/ Ajaria region.
Adjaruli
Adjaruli is a playful and graceful dance performed between couples, and it originally comes from Adjara.
Mtiuluri
Mtiuluri is a mountain dance based on competition between each others, tricks, and performed by men and women dance parts.
Aphkhazuri
Aphkhazuri is a playful dance performed by men and women that combines Adjaruli and mountain dance elements, originating from Aphkhzeti.
Kintouri
Kintouri is a city life dance that represents the old Tbilisi. The dance takes its name after “Kintos,” small merchants known for being cunning, swift, and informal. The dance performed by men represents these characteristics.
And there are more dances like Partsa, Kazbeguri, Samaia, Parikaoba, and others.
The musical ensemble includes folk music, city and regional songs, and popular songs performed by traditional Georgian musical instruments doli, phanduri, and garmoni.
